Hi, I have two girls 3%265, always taking them to the peaks when I go climbing (they both climb too)with my mates. We generally spend ages looking for a kiddie friendly crag in the guide book, but now I've found this website, especially the kid friendly rock page it's made things alot more easier and quicker to find somewhere.
A big congratulations on the website, keep up the good work!

Hi, I hill walk and visit climbing walls with my 7 year old, and this summer hope to do some rock climbing. We would meet to find other parent/child climbers in Manchester - please get in touch.

What a fab website! I have 2 little craghoppers who have been climbing on an ad hoc basis for 2 years (in frequent visits to walls and scrambling in the Lakes). They have just joined the 'Lizards' group at our local wall and are really enjoying it. They will love looking at this site - thank you for providing something aimed at kids into climbing!

Subject:Good site!

Just found your site (long past bedtime!) Tyme has competed in the BRYCS for the last 2 years for Peak %26 Penines coming 3rd on one occasion for his heats. We live within site of the Roaches and attend Upper Limits Cragletts club with his 5 year old brother. This site is just what we've been looking for as I (his mum) can belay but not climb due to back injury. It is difficult taking both boys to larger indoor walls and feeling I can safely supervise their mega-energies with one to belay and the other bouldering... in fact it's impossible on my own! He therefore only gets a couple of hours a week indoor climbing. I am looking for 1-2-1 instruction for Tyme to help him expand his skills as he is now too familiar with Craglets could you suggest any for my area? He loves this site and I'm sure would apreciate a forum to chat with others. It is difficult to keep him in touch with other kids climbing and he feels very isolated by his fanatical hobby sometimes when local mates only like football! Oh and we don't understand the definitions of V.DIF etc!?!? Any recomendations to understand the code?
Tyme %26 his mum (%26 little brother too)
